Drawing on over 20 years of experience in creating color palettes for both quilting and textile design, I will share some of my approaches to pulling color together, and discuss the importance of value and proportion to the overall look of the quilt. We will also delve into the mystery of why a beautiful palette can fall apart as soon as you cut into it and begin to sew.
