Dare I say- value is more important than color? I am a color fanatic, it’s exciting, it’s what draws our attention and gets our admiration, but value is what make those colors sing. Join me for a dive into value! I’ll share why it is one of the most important, exciting and essential design tools at our disposal. I will present a lot of pictures that clearly show how value plays a role in creating movement, tension, or flow in the design of a quilt, and will leave you with a few exercises to take forward into your own quilt making.
